Hello Everyone!
Just finished the first Brides on Bloor event in Toronto -- 3 busy days of events at the Park Hyatt hotel and Bloor-Yorkville retailers. We had a fabulous kickoff party on Friday featuring magazine publisher Grace Ormonde, and a stunning luncheon with famed event designer Preston Bailey. I have attached a few pictures of the lunch designed by myself, luxury linens by Micki's, florals by Petals, Stems and Leaves, and favours by Karen Smallbone. The ice vase was provided by The Iceman.
Enjoy the pics!
Well, better late than never, I now have a few pics. of the beautiful wedding at Langdon Hall in Cambridge a few weeks ago.
Kudos to the stellar vendors that assisted in bringing this beautiful wedding together:
Bonnie Gordon Cakes, Rachel Clingen for Florals/Draping, Boston Images (who so generously provided photos below), the 78th Fraser Highlanders Pipe and Drum Band, and of course, Langdon Hall.
Enjoy!
Just got back from Florida, and I am exhausted! We flew down for Avery & Ian's wedding in Clearwater Beach last Wednesday and it was a whirlwind. Normally I am just planning and designing behind the scenes, but in addition to being there supervising the events, I also designed and produced the florals. We even rented an extra hotel room (affectionately called the "Chill Room") where we kept all the fresh florals cool leading up to the big day. I think we had something like 200 cymbidium orchid stems, 200 white roses, 300 dendrobium orchids, 100 calla lillies, 300 hot pink carnations (for the whimsical flower "balls") and 600 pink rose petals. The flowers took over the entire room!
The wedding was held at the tony Carlouel Yacht Club at the end of Clearwater Beach, which is close to the bride's heart since she has family there, and I couldn't imagine a more beautiful venue. The beach ceremony setting on the Gulf of Mexico and the bay views from the dining room were breathtaking. This was a super fun wedding with a charming bride and groom -- Avery & Ian, thank you so much for asking me to be there for your special day.
Hope you like the pictures!
So I got good news today - Boston Images is kindly sending me a CD of all the details and decor shots from this weekend's wedding at the Langdon Hall Country Inn, so I will post as soon as the images are received.
In the meantime, photographer Jackson Huang sent along the link to the online slideshow for last weekend's elegant wedding at the Dominion Club. You can view slideshow here: Elizabeth & George Slideshow Enjoy!
I will be busy with prepping for a wedding in Florida next week and the upcoming Brides on Bloor wedding event later this month - which is fast approaching. If you haven't bought your guest pass yet, don't delay. Some of the fabulous seminars are close to selling out!
